Harvard High School Investing Competition
Have you ever considering investing or finance as a career? Do you love reading and learning about new companies and good businesses? If so, we would highly encourage you to participate in the Harvard Financial Analyst Club's (HFAC) first High School Investing Competition. HFAC is the premier finance club on campus as well as the most established. This competition is a great way to test your investing acumen from the comfort of your home and meet college investors if you win. If this sounds interesting to you, see below for details.
What: the Harvard Financial Analyst Club (HFAC) High School Investing Competition
Who: anyone and everyone currently in high school (grades 9-12) in the United States
When: registration closes on 9/30 at 10 pm. The competition runs market hours from 9/17-11/26.
How: test your investing acumen by picking and trading stocks, as well as managing your portfolio by investing virtual money online in the real stock market all from the comfort of your home. After you register, we'll provide a link to the actual contest so that you can create an account, etc. Register using the button below or with this link:
Why: the purpose of this competition is to provide a chance for high schoolers to engage and learn about the world of finance from the leading investment club at one of leading institutes of education in the world. Of course, there's also a side benefit of fantastic and fabulous prizes. ;)

Top 5 winners will be invited to attend the annual HFAC stock pitch competition in February, where they'll have a chance to watch stock pitches and network with other college students and employers. They'll also be invited to an all-expenses paid dinner with HFAC board who'll share investing, life, and career advice about how to break into the financial industry. Lodging will be provided for all winners.
The top 3 winners will also receive travel reimbursements. 1st place will be reimbursed up to $150, 2nd place up to $100, and 3rd place $50.
